At Tullius Jewellers, we do not rely on certificates alone.

Over decades in the jewellery industry, we have seen many diamonds with nearly identical certifications perform completely differently in real life. Some diamonds simply shine with greater brilliance, reflection, fire, and life — especially under natural daylight.

That is why every diamond we select is carefully examined under multiple lighting environments and reviewed by several experienced eyes before it is chosen.

We pay special attention to:

• Natural daylight brilliance and reflection
• Fire and scintillation under focused lighting
• Transparency and brightness
• Avoiding milky or cloudy appearance
• Balance, symmetry, and light performance
• Overall emotional beauty of the diamond

Our Diamond Evaluation Process

1. Diffused Natural Daylight

The most honest light for evaluating a diamond’s true beauty, body color, clarity, and natural brightness without excessive glare.

2. Spot Lighting

Used to observe fire, sparkle, and scintillation — the flashes of light and rainbow reflections seen during evening and indoor environments.

3. Laboratory-Controlled Lighting

A neutral daylight-balanced environment used to objectively evaluate color and clarity.

4. Ultraviolet (UV) Light Testing

Used to evaluate fluorescence and ensure the diamond maintains transparency and beauty under different lighting conditions.

Every diamond is examined carefully to ensure it is vibrant, lively, and never dull, cloudy, or lifeless.
